These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Unfumble application for macOS and this website. By downloading, installing, or using Unfumble, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Unfumble.

1. Who we are

Unfumble (“Unfumble”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is created and maintained by Alon Moradov. These Terms form an agreement between you and Unfumble.

2. The app and its license

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Unfumble application on Macs you own or control, for your own use. This license covers the ready-to-run application.

Unfumble's source code is made available separately under the Unfumble Source-Available Non-Commercial License. Any use of the source code, rather than the packaged app, is governed by that license. In short, you may view, run, modify, and share the source for non-commercial purposes, but not sell it or build it into a paid product without prior written permission.

3. Free trial and licenses

• Free trial. You may use Unfumble at no cost for your first 100 fixes, with every feature available, so you can decide whether it's for you.
• Paid license. To continue using Unfumble after the trial, you purchase a one-time license. A license key is issued to you and may be activated on a limited number of your own devices.
• Keep your key safe. Your license key is personal to you. Please don't publish, share, or resell it. We may deactivate keys that are abused or obtained fraudulently.

4. Payments, pricing, and refunds

• Processing. Purchases are sold and processed by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and handles billing, taxes, and receipts. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms.
• Pricing. Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes. We may change pricing over time, but a change will not affect a license you've already purchased.
• Refunds. If Unfumble isn't working out for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we'll arrange a refund of your one-time license, processed through Lemon Squeezy.

5. Acceptable use

When using Unfumble, you agree not to:

• use it for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• circumvent, disable, or tamper with licensing, trial limits, or security measures;
• resell, sublicense, rent, or commercially redistribute the app or your license key without our prior written permission; or
• reverse engineer the packaged application except to the limited extent the law expressly permits (noting that the source is separately available under its own license).

6. Intellectual property

Unfumble, its name, logo, and the design of this website are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms and in the separate source license, no rights are transferred to you.

7. Third-party services

Unfumble runs on Apple macOS and uses system features such as the Accessibility API; your use of macOS is governed by Apple's terms. Licensing and payments rely on Lemon Squeezy. We are not responsible for third-party services, but we choose them to keep your experience private and reliable.

8. Updates and availability

We may release updates that add, change, or remove features, and we may discontinue the app or any feature. We'll make reasonable efforts to keep purchased licenses working, but we don't guarantee that Unfumble will be available, error-free, or compatible with every future version of macOS.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Unfumble is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use Unfumble at your own discretion and risk, and you're responsible for reviewing the text it produces. Because Unfumble can rewrite words as you type, we recommend reviewing important text before you send it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unfumble and its maintainer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) Unfumble. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

These Terms apply while you use Unfumble. We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using Unfumble at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the maintainer's principal place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Where required by law, nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Unfumble after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
